Indoor services suspended

Due to the rapidly increasing number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in North Carolina, and in Dare County specifically, and in response to new directives from the state of North Carolina, the wardens and I have made the decision to suspend in-person worship services and gatherings effective Sunday, January 10. We will continue to livestream worship services on our Facebook page on Sundays at 10:30.

The ways in which we love our neighbors is sacrificial; it is a holy offering not only for our parish, but also for our community, the vulnerable, and first responders and health care workers who are putting their lives on the line. As disappointing as it is to make this change, it is incumbent upon us as followers of Christ to lead by example, not only in thought and word, but in deed. I understand that this may not be the news you were hoping for. Please know that you are not alone in feeling that way, and that we are sympathetic to the stress and uncertainty that this brings. We appreciate your grace and flexibility as we navigate this together.

Faithfully,
Nathan
